The Office of Emergency Planning which is a division of the Department of Defense required a website to run along side Emergency Planning Booklets which are to be distributed to every house in the country.

www.emergencyplanning.ie is content managed by Emergency Planning personnel to keep the public up to date with any new emergency information for the country and a cross-site search of other government sites has been implemented. The site can also be viewed in Irish, and booklets in many different languages will be downloadable shortly.
