For 2 years, FOUR5ONE°DIGITAL and FOUR5ONE°CREATIVE have been commissioned to develop online solutions for eBay.ie. This involves design and development of promotion websites, Direct Mails and Banner placements.

DIRECT MAILS

Starting with the “Ebay.ie recommends Gumtree” Direct Mail in June 2008, and until the end of 2008, FOUR5ONE was designing and developing all the eBay.ie email promotions and messages.

EBAY AND EIRCOM BUSINESS BROADBAND

In April 2008, eBay.ie and Eircom created a promotion for businesses. This offers businesses who buy an Eircom Business Broadband a 6 month free subscription for an eBay Shop. FOUR5ONE° and Digital Simplicity designed and developed the eBay.ie landing page which provides the user with the information to set up a shop as well as a registration form.

BIG GREEN SPRING CLEAN

In Spring 2008, FOUR5ONE° and Digital Simplicity worked closely with eBay to design and develop a promotion for the Spring season called Big Green Spring Clean. This was launched in time for St. Patrick’s day with some festive designs. This project involved the design and development of the website, the design of Direct Mails, which were send out on weekly basis, plus the design of banner placements for the eBay.ie website and third parties websites. www.ebay-events.ie/green/

POSTAGE ESTIMATOR

Early 2008, Digital Simplicity developed a web solution which allow eBay.ie sellers to estimate the cost of shipping their item. The postage estimator is now linked into the eBay.ie ‘Sell your item’ process and is the first tool like this available on an eBay site.

INTERNATIONAL SITE VISIBILITY

FOUR5ONE designed and developed an information page for the eBay.ie site.
This page offers eBay.ie information on the new rules for International Site Visibility. This project involved designing a logo for this site, banners for ebay.ie and Direct Mails. http://web.ebay.ie/isv/

PRESSIE PICKER

In December 2007, Digital Simplicity launched the eBay.ie ‘Pressie Picker’. This Flash application provided users with a tool to search for the perfect present for their partner, friend or family member on eBay.ie. All the ideas you need for that perfect present!!!

EBAY EDUCATION

In October 2006, Digital Simplicity launched eBay.ie’s first Education web site (eBay Education). This offered eBay users the chance to sign up for one of their Education courses available nationwide. This site has been hugely successfully over the last year and has been extended to academy and workshops. www.ebay-education.ie

E-PARCEL

Early 2007, eBay.ie and An Post came together to offer their customers a reduced posting service called e-Parcel. In August 2007, FOUR5ONE° and Digital Simplicity launched www.e-parcel.ie. This web site allows eBay users to apply for an e-Parcel card which gives them reduced posting rates at any An Post office. This web site uses eBay APIs to check the users credentials and see if they satisfy the criteria. This offer has now been extended to all ebay employees who can use the site to register for their card. www.e-parcel.ie
